Annual Golf Tourney, fun Helicopter Ball Drop

Golf enthusiasts are invited to the Canyon Lake Jr. Women’s Club’s annual Golf Tournament April 6at the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club. This eagerly-awaited event promises participants a fun-filled day of golf, contests, and camaraderie, all in support of a noble cause.

The tournament, known for its engaging four-person scramble format, offers a range of complimentary contests for both men and women, including closest to the pin and longest drive.

One of the day’s highlights is the Helicopter Ball Drop, an exciting spectacle where participants have the chance to win prizes based on where their golf balls, dropped from a helicopter, land on the putting green.

Additionally, a putting contest will provide further entertainment and opportunities for players to showcase their skills.

Following the morning’s competitive play, attendees can look forward to unwinding with lunch and a drink, rounding off what is sure to be an enjoyable day. The event’s proceeds will directly benefit the Canyon Lake Junior Women’s Club Annual Scholarship program, contributing to the education of deserving students.

Registration for the tournament opens at 8:00 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Tournament fees are set at $105 for Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club members and $135 for non-members. For those looking to participate in the Helicopter Ball Drop, balls are available for purchase starting at $10, with additional balls for the putting contest priced at $5.
