Gardeners to hold Rose Garden Workshop tomorrow

The Canyon Lake Community Gardeners will be hosting two events over the next two weeks.

The club is set to host a Rose Garden Workshop tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., at the Canyon Lake Lodge rose garden. Then, the following weekend on Feb. 24, it will host a creative workshop focused on crafting succulent wreaths and arrangements. Scheduled for Feb. 24 at 2:00 p.m., the event will take place at the Eastport activities building and will require a fee to pay for supplies. The Rose Garden Workshop event is open to anyone interested in the art of pruning roses or looking to gain more knowledge in gardening. Attendees are advised to bring their own gloves and clippers to the workshop. This gathering offers a hands-on learning experience for both novice and experienced gardeners.

For the Succulent Wreath Workshop, which will include table top arrangements as well, there is a participation fee of $20. Attendees will receive all necessary supplies along with expert instruction to create their own succulent masterpieces. This hands-on workshop is perfect for both beginners and seasoned gardeners looking to expand their succulent collection or start a new gardening project.

Kelly Lopez, president of the Canyon Lake Community Gardeners, is coordinating the events and encourages anyone interested in participating to sign up.

To register for the workshops or to donate succulents for the second workshop, community members can reach out to Kelly at 951-609-6723.
