JWC title sponsor auction ends today

The Canyon Lake Junior Women’s Club holds many popular events throughout the year and each event has sponsors that contribute to the event’s cause. How about being a title sponsor for the entire year?

The club is holding an auction which began last week and ends today. The winner will be the Junior Women’s Club Title Sponsor for the year. Bids to be the title sponsor will be placed at charityauction.bid/CLJWCAUCTION.

The winning bid will be named the Title Sponsor and will give the winner quite the exposure. The Title Sponsor will receive year-long social media ads along with JWC paper ads, advertisements at JWC events and more.

The starting bids begin at $1,000 and subsequent bids are placed at $250 increments. For more information canyonlakejwc@gmail.com. The Junior Women’s Club is well known for many popular charitable events held in Canyon Lake throughout the year.

Jenna Hofmann chosen Elsinore High Student of the Month

Canyon Lake’s Jenna Hofmann was chosen as the female September Student of the Month for Elsinore High School. She was honored at a luncheon Tuesday at Lakeside High School’s Lancer Round Table Cafe.

The high schools in the Lake Elsinore Union School District name male and female students to be honored by the monthly program sponsored by the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce.

All students honored are eligible to be considered for the Student of the Year which includes scholarships.

Woman’s Club to meet at Canyon Lake Country Club

The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club will be having its first meeting at the Canyon Lake Country Club on Wednesday. Ladies are invited to do some early Christmas shopping on the Country Club patio starting at 9:00 a.m. Vendor shopping is open to the public.

The meeting will take place starting at 10:00 a.m. The meeting theme for this month is on Gratitude. The bar will be open for those wishing to purchase a drink.

The Country Club manager has worked a special menu for luncheons, but reservations must be made in advance. For those with questions contact canyonlakewomansclub@gmail.com.

Bulky item pick ups can be scheduled with CR&R online

CR&R, Canyon Lake’s contracted trash pick up company, provides the pick up of bulky items. The pickup of these items is available by scheduling on CR&R’s website, www.crrwasteservices.com, or by calling 800-755-8112.

Items that cannot fit in the curbside automated containers, such as a chair, couch, or other household appliances, are considered “bulky items.” Each residential customer is entitled to call and schedule a bulky item pick-up for no additional charge two times per calendar year, and each call can include up to two items.
