Concerts at the Lodge

Tickets are still available for next weekend’s Atlanta Rhythm Section Concerts at the Lodge concert. Canyon Lake residents and music enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Canyon Lake POA presents the highly anticipated concert on June 17.

The concert will take place in the Holiday Bay Room at the Canyon Lake Lodge. Organized by Doug Schultz and the Canyon Lake POA, the concert promises to be an evening filled with an incredible live performance and a vibrant atmosphere.

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., allowing attendees to find their seats and soak in the ambiance. The evening will kick off at 7:30 p.m. with a captivating opening act by The Spell to set the stage for an unforgettable night.

The headlining act will take the spotlight at 8:30 p.m., ensuring that concert-goers are treated to an extraordinary musical experience by the Atlanta Rhythm Section. The group’s most successful hits were 1970s’ singles “So into You” and “Imaginary Lover.”

The iconic Southern rock band Atlanta Rhythm Section hails from Georgia and was formed in 1970. Despite the passage of time, Rodney Justo, one of the original founding members, continues to captivate audiences as the lead singer.

The Atlanta Rhythm Section boasts an impressive discography of 15 albums, including two exhilarating live recordings. In addition, their music has been accompanied by 10 mesmerizing music videos. Fans can expect to groove to their mega-hit songs such as “So Into You,” “Champagne Jam,” “Imaginary Lover,” “Homesick,” and “Spooky.”

Setting the stage on fire as the opening act for the evening will be the dynamic duo, The Spell, composed of Kenny Marquez and Tara G. Hailing from Oceanside, Kenny brings his experience to the stage as the former lead singer and vocalist for the renowned 1980s rock band, Renegade.

With a powerful stage presence and a voice that resonates with emotion, Kenny Marquez is sure to leave a lasting impression on the June 17 audience. Accompanying him is the talented Tara G, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter known for her captivating performances and soulful lyrics.

With a background as a Spotify artist, Tara G‘s unique musical style adds a fresh touch to The Spell‘s performance, which promises to be an enchanting start to the evening.

Tickets for the event are priced at $49.00 for general admission and $69.00 for VIP access. They can be conveniently obtained at the Member Services desk at the Canyon Lake POA office.
