Ann Blay wins President Cup Golf Tournament

Ann Blay, one of the Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club’s newest members, won the club’s President Cup Championship last week after two grueling rounds of play at the Canyon Lake Golf Course. Ann will have her name engraved on the perpetual trophy and will receive a Club Medallion for the victory.

Awards were presented by Canyon Lake Country Club Pro Pat Kembell at the awards luncheon which took place after the second day of play. Winners of the four flights received the awards. Those winners were A flight – 1st Kathy Voss, 2nd Dena Kuhns; 3rd Nancy Zimmerman, 4th Jill Busser; B flight –  1st Lorie Campbell, 2nd Lorrie Applegate, 3rd Victoria Wood , 4th, Norma Yarbrough; C flight –  1st Ina Pickard, 2nd Donna Nunes, 3rd Ellie Weidner, 4th Ura Furry and D flight – 1st Linda Johnson, 2nd Linda Hudson, 3rd Linda Kamashian, 4th Allice Ramirez.

There were a total of 26 golfers who participated in the annual tournament.
