Junior Lifeguard Clinic

To prepare for the Canyon Lake Tryouts for Summer Junior Lifeguards, Canyon Lake youths ages 9 to 15 are invited to a Junior Lifeguard Program Stroke Clinic tomorrow morning. The clinic is free and will be held at the Canyon Lake Lodge Pool at 7:00 a.m. It is sponsored by the C.L.E.A.R. Foundation in partnership with the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association. Swim instructor Nina Colas will teach participants swim stroke skills to help them prepare for the April 29 Summer Junior Lifeguard Tryouts. At the tryouts, swimmers must swim 100 yards in under three minutes and tread water for two minutes in order to qualify for the Lake Perris lifeguard program.
