“PZA was chosen because of its tireless effort it has put into serving the Canyon Lake community,” Kristina Rasband, the Chamber marketing/communications director, said.

Just this month PZA has hosted the Canyon Lake Community Gardeners Wreath Making Class, The Chamber of Commerce Bingo Fundraiser, Bunco, Karaoke Night, Live Entertainment, and has started serving breakfast seven days a week.

“Breakfast has been something our customers have requested,” Shannon said. “Some of our breakfasts are named after our regulars of breakfasts they have requested we make for them.”

She said the restaurant does its best to support local clubs and community fundraisers.

“We are so grateful to the community,” Shannon said. “We started in the middle of the pandemic and had to utilize outside seating. Then we had the expansion. It has been quite the ride. We don’t care if you call us P.Z.A. or PZA, just as long as you show up.”
