Rain fills lake to overflowing
After years of drought and rare rain, Canyon Lake has seen storm after storm pass through during the past few weeks, filling the lake and creating snow-topped mountain scenes. Lake-front parks are flooded, causeways are covered and the dam, above, is releasing the lake’s excess water into the San Jacinto River and on to Lake Elsinore.
