Huey Lewis tribute band plays at sold-out concert

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild Concert was a sell out with over 350 concert goers Saturday rocking to the beat of the Huey Lewis tribute band, THORR.

The audience appeared to enjoy the evening as they sang along to many of Huey Lewis’ hit songs, including “Heart of Rock and Roll.”

“Many of the ticket holders expressed this as being one of the best concerts Canyon Lake has ever seen,” Guild President Bonnie Dubbs said.

THoRR is a local Huey Lewis tribute band out of Murrieta. The band was energetic and rocked the house, Bonnie said.

“I want to thank our entire board and associates,” Bonnie said. “All their hard work made this concert such a huge success. A special thanks to Larry Garland for saving the day.”
