CL Garden Club hosting harvest trade

The Canyon Lake Community Gardeners is hosting a harvest trade on Jan. 21 at 10:00 a.m. and it’s open to the community.

“Anyone can come,” the club’s Kelly Lopez said. “Community members can come and trade fruit and vegetables they’ve grown. It’s up to the individual if they want to donate or ask for a trade.”

People who don’t have anything to trade are also invited to the event, Kelly said. They can make a donation to the club in exchange for produce brought by club members.

Club members will be bringing sweet potatoes, citrus, succulents and more.
