Canyon Lake student picked Temescal Canyon High School Student of Month

Summer Nee from Canyon Lake was honored Tuesday as the Temescal Canyon High School Student of the Month for December. The Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce honors the top students from each of the district’s high schools each month.

The event was hosted at Lakeside High School‘s Round Table Café where a luncheon was served to the honorees and their guests and families. The students received gift packs and were able to address the group.

As an honoree, Summer is now eligible to apply for a Student of the Year scholarship, which will be given in June to two of the Students of the Month from the school year for each comprehensive high school.

Canyon Lake Concerts at the Lodge tickets make good Christmas gifts

The POA 2023 Concerts at the Lodge lineup gives a variety of musical entertainment that is intended to delight anyone, Doug Schultz, the Canyon POA’s talent buyer, producer, showrunner and emcee, said.

Don is the lead singer of the legendary glam metal band Dokken, which has sold over 10 million albums.

“I’ve done two shows with Don,” Doug Schultz, the Canyon POA’s talent buyer, producer, showrunner and emcee, said. “Canyon Lakers will witness his vibrato-laden melodic vocal style that made him an influential figure in American Heavy Metal.”

The 2023 POA Concerts at the Lodge lineup also includes The English Beat on May 6, Atlanta Rhythm Section on June 17, Deana Carter on Aug. 19 and The Fabulous Thunderbirds on Nov. 4.
