Woman’s Club Holiday Home Tour tomorrow

The festive Canyon Lake Woman’s Club Holiday Home Tour takes place tomorrow and those purchasing tickets will be able to view five holiday-decorated homes.

Tickets for the home tour are $20 and can be purchased at the Canyon Lake Lodge from where the tour begins at 9:00 a.m. or by contacting Rose Marie Hand at 951-212-1946. The home tour is one of the Woman Club’s many fundraisers held each year.

Along with the home tour is a tree and wreath opportunity drawing. Trees and wreaths are valued at $200. Tickets for the drawing can be purchased in packs of six tickets for $5.00 at the Lodge from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All proceeds go towards the club’s philanthropic endeavors.

Vendors will also be available at the Lodge for last-minute shopping needs.

Four of the five homes on the tour have been previously announced and showcased in previous editions of The Friday Flyer. Josh and Patty Easterly’s home located at 30475 Sea Horse Circle has been chosen as the fifth.

The Easterlys have chosen the theme for their home to be Winter Wonderland. When those on the tour embark on Easterly’s home, they will be met with a metal and frosted glass pivot door that welcomes them into this new, contemporary home located on the East Bay.

Guests will want to pay special attention to the barn doors on the office and en suite guest room. The trough sink and tiled walls in the bath would make any guest feel welcome.

The color pallet of dark gray, light gray and white with the 10-foot ceilings give the home a crisp, bright and airy look. The living, dining and kitchen areas are tied together with 2 x 4 porcelain flooring, quartz countertops, white shaker cabinetry, a large island and wonderful artwork. The large couch and fireplace beckon visitors to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Stepping outside, visitors are engulfed with spectacular views, a salt water, pebble coated pool and large fire features that invite family and friends to enjoy fun and relaxation.

Heading back inside, guests are greeted by a stainless steel, cabled staircase that leads to the girls’ den, loft and three en suite rooms just for the children of the home.

The master suite has both his and hers closets and gray wood flooring with contrasting black furnishings. The spacious bathroom is home to a soaker tub, huge shower and vessel sinks.

The home is well designed, well decorated and pays tribute to being a lovely, contemporary home built by the owners to meet all of their young family’s needs.
