Turf Replacement Rebate

EVMWD is offering a rebate of $2.25 per square foot for replacing grass with a more water-wise yard like this one. On average, 60-percent of a home’s water usage is spent outdoors for watering landscapes. The Turf Replacement Rebate Program is designed to combine turf removal, efficient irrigation, and drought-tolerant plants to create a sustainable landscape that uses less water than traditional grass. Over the last year, EVMWD customers received rebates for removing more than 76,000 square feet of grass, saving approximately 3.2 million gallons of water.
