Tennis Club social to support cancer awareness

The Canyon Lake Tennis Club is having its monthly social tomorrow beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Canyon Lake Tennis Courts.

November’s social theme, Cancer Awareness, is in honor of Kristin Kennedy, a club member who recently passed away from cancer.

The Tennis Club is encouraging everyone to wear pink or periwinkle, which is in support of stomach cancer.

Anyone can stop by to make a donation, even if not participating in the tournament. Donations are being accepted in the way of either gift cards or cash/check.

A donation box will be available at the tennis courts the day of the tournament.

Donations will be going to one of Kristen’s favorite toy drives, Gifts of Joy Foundation.
