1,500 pack park for Harbor Fest’s free concert

An estimated 1,500 Canyon Lakers packed Holiday Harbor by land and boat for free concerts by Kings of Karma and the RagDolls Saturday. The RagDolls, an all female Aerosmith Tribute Band, wrapped up Harbor Fest, a full afternoon and evening of activities put on by the Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild.

Prior to the concerts, Canyon Lake families had several options to pursue. There were several food trucks, vendors, a face painter, wine and beer and music.

Among those at the event selling food and providing services were the Canyon Lakes Junior Women’s Club that sold beer, wine and margaritas, the Canyon Lake Family Matters Club sold sunglasses with all the proceeds going into its philanthropic fund, the Family Matters Club also provided free face painting for the young ones and The Canyon Lake Gardeners also had booths for concert goers to stop by and see what’s new in the garden world.

Kings of Karma, a band that combines styles of music ranging from Led Zeppelin to The Rolling Stones and to even the Beatles, took the stage at 4:00 p.m.

The RagDolls Concert began as the sun was setting at 7:00 p.m.
