Friday Flyer reporter taking two-week vacation

Friday Flyer reporter Dawn Rankins will be gone for a couple of weeks to take a planned vacation. News can continue to be submitted to the newspaper while she is away by submitting on FridayFlyer.com or by emailing the news and attaching high resolution photos to news@goldingpublications.com.

“It’s never a good time to take a vacation when there are so many amazing events happening within our little gem of Canyon Lake,” Dawn said. “Now is as good a time as any to go and rejuvenate myself and spend some quality time with my family.”

During her vacation, Dawn will not be doing any reporting.

“If there is an event that you want covered, you are still in great hands with the amazing Friday Flyer staff,” she said. “Just submit a couple of photos and the article and the staff will be more than happy to write it up for submission.”

Any news that is erroneously sent to Dawn’s email will be forwarded to the editor. Dawn returns on May 19.
