Chamber of Commerce schedules Storm Baseball and coffee with fire chief

In addition to a Paint-N-Sip social at Daisy Dukez in the Canyon Lake Town Center on Thursday, the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce is hosting two September events.

On Sept. 9, the Chamber is inviting its members to a coffee with Jeff LaTendresse, the Interim City Fire Chief, and Chris Mann, City of Canyon Lake City Manager. The 9:00 a.m. one-hour event will take place at the Canyon Lake Country Club. The discussion will include the implementation of the new Canyon Lake Fire Department, the EMS Subscription Program, Code Inspection Program and how all of that will affect services to local businesses.

Then, a week later, the Chamber is hosting Business, Beer and Baseball at Storm Stadium.

The Chamber is inviting local businesses and families to Storm Stadium for the Sept. 16 Storm vs. 66ers baseball game. Tickets start at $9.00.

“Bring your family for one of the last games of the season on this MEGA Thirsty Thursday,” Jeanne O’Dell, Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce president, said. “Buy raffle tickets ahead of time to win a chance for the First Pitch, First Catch, Play Ball Announcement and 7th Inning Stretch Sing Along. You won’t want to miss this one.”

Each ticket sold will help fund future Chamber events such as Parade of Frights on Oct. 23, scholarships, etc. For information on purchasing game tickets and raffle tickets, contact the Chamber at (951) 244-6124 or canyonlakechamber@outlook.com.
