In Memoriam: Bob Clow

Bob Clow

Bob Clow passed away on July 9, 2021. At 94 years young he defied the limits of age and he golfed, skied, and played pickleball.

Bob was a native Californian and spent his entire life in the state. Bob had a passion for snow skiing, he was a volunteer Ski Patrolman at Mammoth for nearly 40 years, and in 1980 won the U.S. Veterans National title.

Bob moved to Canyon Lake with his wife Ellie in 1993 to enjoy boating and water skiing on the lake. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

In Canyon Lake he was a member of numerous clubs including the Men’s Golf Club, Pickleball Club, Tennis Club, CLAMS and was on the POA Safety committee for two years, just to name a few.

Bob’s daughters Jill Garber and Sandee Clow followed their parents and now live in Canyon Lake.  His quick and unexpected departure will leave us all saddened and missing his zest for life.
