Women hold annual Valentine Tournament

The Women’s Golf Club held its annual Valentine Tournament last week which this year was named, All You Need is Love…and Golf.

The 44 club members who participated in the 18 hole four person scramble not only enjoyed a day of golf and camaraderie, but also received the coveted Valentine goody bag.

Tournament coordinators KK Beecher, Linda Johnson, Linda Kamashian and Anne Norris said they would like to thank all who participated.

The first place winners of the various flights were:

A Flight – 1st Gross Marilyn Bridges, Gerry Meeks, Norma Yarbrough and Sue Sell.

A Flight 1st Net – Kathy Werder, Victoria Wood and Nancy Zimmerman and Lorrie Applegate.

B Flight 1st Gross – Linda Kamashian, KK Beecher, Linda Johnson, and Anne Norris.

B Flight 1st Net – Marlene Cathro, Donna Nunes, Maxine Whalen and Barbara Spraul.

C Flight 1st Net – Elaine Grady, Joanna Spiller, Lila Gann, and Kay Arth.
