Due to the nation-wide shortage of supplies, Hospice of the Valleys is asking for donations of personal protective equipment and supplies. These supplies are needed for its health care employees, patients and families/caregivers.
All donations must be unused and new and will be reviewed and cleaned for infection control.
The needed items include: Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, Sani-Cloth Wipes (bleached or antimicrobial), Hand Sanitizer (minimum 60% alcohol based hand gel), Disposable Face Masks (surgical masks, N95 respirators, industrial masks), Surgical Gowns or Disposable Long Sleeved Hospital Gowns, Disposable Nitrile Gloves (ideally powder-free, non-latex — medical, restaurant, industrial), Protective Face Shields and Goggles, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Diaper Wipes, Bleach and Rubbing Alcohol.
To donate any of these or similar items to Hospice of the Valleys, call 951-200-7800 to schedule a porch pickup.
