In Memoriam: Margie Bishop

Marj passed away peacefully Mar. 11, 2019. She was born June 8, 1928, in Burton, Kansas. She married Ken Bishop on Apr. 5, 1947, in Independence, Kansas.

Employed by Southern Pacific Railroad, the family relocated to Mojave, California, in 1950, Lancaster in 1955 and then Barstow in 1958 where they purchased their first Richfield Service Station. In 1967, they moved to Goleta, California.

Ken and Marj retired to Canyon Lake in 1989 where they enjoyed 27 years of friendship and golf with fellow golfers before moving north to Shingle Springs, California. Their hearts never left Canyon Lake.

Marj is survived by husband Ken, son Mike, daughters Debra and Susan, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
