Rocktoberfest 2016 rocks Holiday Harbor

The Jr. Women’s Club 2nd annual Rocktoberfest was held at Holiday Harbor on Saturday, October 15. The event featured beer tastings from local microbreweries, wine and margarita booths, raffle opportunities and vendors.

Fat & Happy Pub & Grub, a new vendor to this event, sold items from their menu. Local band Luv Buckit entertained the crowd with Classic Rock, 80s, Country and Modern Rock tunes.

JWC President Alissa Rackstraw says, “On behalf of JWC, I want to thank everyone who supported this event. Everyone had a great time, and we sold out of the tastings. We are planning on having this event next year; if anyone has any great ideas please send them to us.”

Proceeds from the Rocktoberfest will help support the community beautification and philanthropy projects that JWC has planned for the year.
