Thompson Square to headline Concert at Lodge

American country music duo Thompson Square will headline the next “Concert at the Lodge” on April 20. The concert will take place in the Holiday Bay Room of the newly remodeled Canyon Lake Lodge, featuring the husband and wife team, Keifer and Shawna Thompson, who have captivated audiences nationwide since their debut.

Since signing with Stoney Creek Records in 2010, Thompson Square has released three albums that produced 14 charted singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts. Among their hits, the multi-platinum “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” soared to the top of the Hot Country Songs chart and became the most played song of the year on country music radio.

Doug Schultz, the Talent Buyer, Producer, and Emcee for the concert series, shared his enthusiasm for the duo’s upcoming performance.

“The Canyon Lake audience is in for a real treat with these big country music stars,” he said. “This intimate acoustic show is a unique concert experience, providing a rare opportunity to witness national recording artists perform live in such a close and personal setting.”

Following a pause to focus on their family, Thompson Square returns to the stage with their latest album, “Masterpiece,” which reflects on their life experiences, love, and partnership. Their performance in Canyon Lake promises to showcase both their classic hits and new work, demonstrating their evolution as artists and individuals.
