CL Women’s Golf Club to host Senior Championship

The Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club is hosting the “50 Shades of Gray” Senior Championship, a golf tournament for senior women golfers on Tuesday and April 23, offering an opportunity for senior club members to demonstrate their skills.

Participants must have played and posted scores for six 18-hole games in the past year to qualify for the tournament. This requirement is intended to ensure that all competitors are active golfers.

The championship is open to members aged 60 and above, with a special category for “Super Seniors” who are 75 years and older. This approach allows golfers of varying senior ages to compete.

Members interested in participating can sign up at the Pro Shop and pay the entry fee of $43.00. For those entering the Super Senior category, there is an additional $5.00 fee.

Ura Furry is available for more information about the tournament. She can be contacted at 951-805-2663 or via email at ufurry@verizon.net.

The “50 Shades of Gray” Senior Championship aims to be a competitive event that showcases the golfing abilities of the club’s senior members. The Women’s Golf Club looks forward to a successful tournament.
