Car Club’s Annual Auction Night a resounding success

The Canyon Lake Car Club celebrated another successful annual auction event last week with over 80 members gathering to participate in a spirited auction, all in the name of supporting the club’s array of events and activities. The evening was complemented by complimentary pizza and salad, a token of appreciation for the members’ generous donations of various items for auction. The auction featured an eclectic mix of items appealing to a wide range of interests, from automotive paraphernalia, neon signs, and custom man cave lamps to bikes, designer purses, and even homemade banana bread muffins, freshly baked and straight out of the oven. This diversity ensured there was something for everyone, making the event a highlight for club members.

The funds raised from the auction are earmarked for the club’s diverse programming, including the popular Drive-in Movie Night, Mystery Garage Tour, and the provision of food for club meetings. These events are central to the club’s mission of fostering a sense of community and shared passion for automotive culture. In addition to celebrating the auction’s success, the club announced that memberships are currently open for both renewal and new members. The club welcomes anyone who owns a pre-2004 vehicle, emphasizing that owning a classic car is not a prerequisite for joining.

Enthusiast memberships are available for individuals who, while they may not own a classic car, share a deep appreciation for classic, specialty cars, and trucks.
