Club to hold rescheduled Spring Planting Workshop

Following a recent workshop affected by inclement weather and low attendance, the Canyon Lake Community Gardeners Club has set another date for its Spring Planting Workshop. Originally held last Saturday, the event saw a modest turnout of 10 members due to the rainy conditions, so the club has decided to hold another one.

To accommodate those who missed it and to further share valuable gardening insights, Kelley Lopez, the workshop’s instructor, will lead a second session on April 6 at 2:00 p.m.

The upcoming workshop aims to cover the same theme, focusing on essential spring planting techniques and strategies to maximize garden productivity and health. Participants can look forward to seed giveaways and engaging discussions on various gardening methods, including vertical planting, companion planting, and seed starting.

These topics are designed to equip attendees with the knowledge and resources needed for a successful planting season in Canyon Lake.

Kelley, known for her expertise and passion for gardening, is excited to offer another opportunity for community members to learn and grow together. The workshop is open to all, from seasoned gardeners to those just beginning their gardening journey.
