Hope Lights the Night will use luminaries for cancer awareness

Canyon Lake is preparing to hold its first Hope Lights the Night Luminary Event at Holiday Harbor Park on April 2, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This special evening is organized by Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, in partnership with the Mermaids of Canyon Lake, to stand in solidarity with individuals and families impacted by cancer.

The event is designed as a gathering of hope, to light luminaries at dusk in a beautiful display of remembrance and support. It aims to honor those who have survived cancer, those who are currently battling the disease, and to remember loved ones lost. This family-friendly gathering serves as a symbol of the community’s collective resilience and hope, offering a peaceful space for reflection and solidarity.

Attendance is free, but RSVPs are necessary to participate in this meaningful event. It offers a chance for the community of Canyon Lake to come together in support of each other, highlighting the strength and courage of those touched by cancer.

Those interested in joining Hope Lights the Night will need to register at michellesplace.org/events. This event promises to be a beacon of hope and unity, reflecting the supportive spirit of Canyon Lake.
