Smith/Tucker team win March Bassmasters Tourney

The Canyon Lake Bassmasters’ monthly club tournament witnessed a competitive showdown on Saturday, with 13 boats and 26 anglers vying for top honors. Travis Smith and Rich Tucker clinched first place with an impressive haul of 19.97 lbs.

Following closely behind the winners were Kevin Hugo and Hank Dunbar, securing second place with a catch totaling 19.16 lbs. The third-place spot went to the duo of Damon Hole and Cole Crockett, who managed to reel in 17.72 lbs.

Damon not only contributed to his team’s third-place finish, but also landed the big fish of the tournament, a notable catch weighing in at 5.03 lbs.
