Yacht Club to hold free Boating Season Prep Clinic tomorrow

As the boating season swiftly approaches, the Canyon Lake Yacht Club is gearing up to ensure boaters are fully prepared for the water. The club is hosting a clinic titled “How to Get Your Boat Ready for the Boating Season” tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at Holiday Harbor.

This event aims to provide vital information on boat preparation and safety for all Canyon Lake boat owners.

Yacht Club Commodore Rob Mora emphasized the importance of readiness and why the club wants to help.

“We don’t want to lose even one boating day due to engine problems or other things,” Rob said. “There are some cool gadgets and things to make your days out on the water even better.”

Following the informational session, the club has planned a sunset cruise departing from Holiday Harbor at 5:15 p.m., allowing members to enjoy the scenic beauty of Canyon Lake at dusk.

This event marks the beginning of a series of activities designed to make the most of the boating season, reflecting the club’s commitment to enhancing the boating experience on Canyon Lake.
