Patriotic Arms named 2024 Business of the Year

Patriotic Arms, a veteran-owned family-operated firearms store in the Canyon Lake Town Center has been honored as the 2024 Business of the Year by the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce.

To win the honor, owners Johnny and Veronica Juarez have made a significant impact in the community, both through their business and their active participation in various local events and fundraisers.

Established initially as a home-based business, Patriotic Arms expanded to a storefront in the Canyon Lake Town Center 14 months ago.

The store offers a wide range of services, including out-of-state transfers, consignments, stippling, gunsmithing, and more. They also stock firearms, ammunition, and accessories for range days.

The Juarez couple, both veterans, are known for their involvement in community events, often focusing on supporting fellow veterans. Their dedication to community service includes participation in Chamber events and engaging in local initiatives like reading to children at the Canyon Lake Library.

Their recent involvement in fundraisers for Eric Frega, who is battling pancreatic cancer, is a testament to their commitment to the community. Patriotic Arms sponsored two fundraisers in January to support Eric‘s treatment outside the country.

“Between running a successful business and consistently supporting our community, Patriotic Arms represents everything that’s great about Canyon Lake,” Chamber President John Grande said. “The Juarez family is the best of Canyon Lake.”
