Canyon Lake Lodge Grand Re-Opening tonight

The grand re-opening and open house of the Sunset Lounge & Terrace and Lighthouse Restaurant at the Canyon Lake Lodge has finally arrived and will open amid much fanfare tonight from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m..

The grand re-opening event will unveil the extensive renovations undertaken at the facility by the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association, originally constructed in 2000.

After two decades of service, the Canyon Lake Lodge required significant updates. The renovation project focused on modernizing the interior, addressing the outdated and worn finishes, including a refreshed look for the bar area last updated nine years ago. An expert design team was employed to oversee these major upgrades, revitalizing the lodge‘s restaurant and bar, the Canyon Lake POA said.

The Sunset Lounge & Terrace opened to the public earlier, offering Canyon Lakers a glimpse into the extensive renovation work. Final touches and finishes have been applied to both the lounge and the Lighthouse Restaurant in preparation for the grand re-opening. Canyon Lake POA officials are eagerly anticipating the community‘s response to the updated lodge.

“We can’t wait for you to see the new Lodge,” the POA said.

The re-opening event is expected to draw significant attention from residents, showcasing The Lodge‘s transformation. In addition to the restaurant being open for business, there will be music and other entertainment welcoming guests to view the newly-renovated facility. Dinner reservations for tonight, however, are fully booked.

Funding for the renovation project came from the Repair & Replacement Reserve fund, as detailed in the reserve study. This study, available on the POA‘s Financials page of its website, lists every inventory component in need of replacement, along with its life expectancy. Many of these components had surpassed their lifespan, necessitating the overhaul.

The POA highlighted the importance of maintaining and updating the community‘s common area amenities, not only for enhancing property values but also for modernizing the 55-year-old community.
