Canyon Lake Golf Clubs hold another successful blood drive

The four Canyon Lake golf clubs joined together once again to hold another successful blood drive earlier this month. Appointments were fulfilled and dozens of units of blood were donated.

The Men’s Golf Club, Women’s Golf Club, 9er’s Golf Club and Family Golf Club come together on a quarterly basis to sponsor blood drives in the Magnolia Room at Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club.

They have sponsored 18 quarterly American Red Cross blood drives since October 2019.  During that time, blood donors provided 558 units of blood that impacted the lives of 1,674 people.

“These four golf clubs are truly helping save lives through their community outreach,” Blood Drive Coordinator Travis Montgomery said.

The blood drives are held on the second Monday of January, April, July and October from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To schedule a life-saving donor appointment go online to www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code CLGCC.
