Santa makes grand entrance to CL Ski Club holiday event

The Canyon Lake Ski Club offered a delightful treat to local families with a free event on Saturday, featuring a grand entrance by Santa. In a spectacular start to the event, Santa was seen skiing on the slalom course and making jumps on Friday, followed by sightings of him in a striking red boat before he made his way to the north area ski pavilion on Saturday.

The event was a huge success, with over 75 children in attendance, ranging from 3 weeks to 14 years old. Despite the windy conditions, families turned out in large numbers, undeterred by the weather and eager to meet Santa. The event provided an opportunity for children to decorate cookies and enjoy a festive gathering.

“We love visiting the ski club Santa every year,” Michelle Ritter, a Canyon Lake mom at the event, said. “What a great event and treat for the kids in our community.”

Debra Sacks, a member of the ski club’s social media and marketing committee, praised the efforts of the club members in organizing the event.

“I am super proud of the ski club members for creating a better event every year,” Debra said. “We had 10 helpers, our swag team, a beautiful red Malibu boat for Santa’s arrival, our ski club president announcing a skier on the water, and lots of happy children, parents, and grandparents.”
