Senior Center to ring in new year with dinner-dance

The Canyon Lake Senior Center is all set to host its annual New Year’s Eve dinner-dance on Dec. 31, offering an elegant way to bid farewell to the old year and ring in the new. Scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., this semi-formal event promises an evening filled with fine dining, dancing, and a special champagne toast.

The event’s entertainment will be provided by Rob Roberson, ensuring a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. The catered dinner, prepared by Wicked Spoons, along with a champagne toast, is sure to make the evening a memorable one. Guests also have the option to bring their own beverages to complement the meal.

A unique aspect of the celebration is the early New Year’s toast at 10:00 p.m., in sync with the Central Time Zone’s new year, allowing participants to celebrate the arrival of 2024 a bit earlier. Additionally, guests are welcome to stay on for games and festivities until the local midnight hour.

Tickets for this exclusive event are priced at $50 per person. With limited seating available, those interested are encouraged to make reservations soon to ensure their spot at this sought-after gathering.

Currently on sale, tickets can be purchased at the Senior Center every Monday morning between 10:00 a.m. and noon. For additional information or to make inquiries, individuals can email canyonlake.ca.seniorcenter@gmail.com or call Grace Ward at 662-341-0804.
