Mermaids announce 2024 CL Calendar Photo Contest winners

The Mermaids of Canyon Lake have crafted a stunning 2024 calendar featuring beautiful photos of the community submitted by residents to a club photo contest. The winning photos, chosen by Canyon Lake professional photographer Anthony Arendt, showcases the picturesque essence of Canyon Lake through the lenses of these photographers.

The chosen photos for each month and the cover were announced, with Ronda Samuels winning the coveted cover spot, earning a $100 gift card of her choice. Each of the 12 monthly winners received a $50 gift card.

The monthly winners were January – Diana Ballou, February – Nicole Wade, March – Kate Lavin. April – Katie Wahrenbrock, May – Jassibeth Oro, June – Delaney Dyer, July – Bruce Busser, August – Betty and Naomi Huang, September – Jassibeth Oro, October – Marty Pojar, November – Donna Ritchie and December – Donna Ritchie.

The Mermaids of Canyon Lake extend their congratulations to all the winners and express gratitude to everyone who submitted their photos. The contest witnessed an array of stunning entries, making the selection process challenging, yet rewarding.

Local businesses have sponsored the calendar, which allows the Mermaids of Canyon Lake to distribute the calendars to residents at no charge and to support multiple charities, as mentioned on the calendar’s back and the organization’s website.
