CL Choraleers A Reel Christmas Concert Sunday

The Canyon Lake Choraleers are gearing up to spread holiday cheer with their Sunday concert, “A Reel Christmas.”

The performance will take place in the Holiday Bay Room at the Canyon Lake Lodge at 2:30 p.m.

The concert is set to feature beloved melodies from Christmas movies, blending nostalgia with festive spirit.

Local talents, including pianist Lynda Salina and harpist Kylene Evans, will join forces with the Choraleers and a popular kids choir.

The performance will showcase a variety of instruments, such as the violin, flute, and trombone, all complemented by vocal harmonies.

Artistic Director Lorilee Bajema will lead the ensemble.

The program promises to take the audience on a musical journey through Christmas classics.

Among the highlights are selections from the “Home Alone” soundtrack, Burl Ives’ “Holly Jolly Christmas,” and songs from Disney’s “Frozen,” including “In Summer.”

“We are excited to bring the magic of Christmas movies to life through music,” Lorilee said. “Our goal is to spread joy and rekindle fond holiday memories among our audience.”

Tickets for “A Reel Christmas” are available for purchase at the Canyon Lake POA office, or from Choraleer members.

The pricing for the tickets is $30 for VIP seating, $25 for reserved seats, and $20 for general admission.
