CLCT’s ‘Finding Christmas’ opens next weekend

The Canyon Lake Community Theatre is set to present its original production, “Finding Christmas,” starting Dec. 15 at the Canyon Lake Lodge. This heartwarming play, written by Canyon Lake residents, is poised to be a holiday favorite for both the young and the young at heart.

The production offers two distinct experiences. On Dec. 15, a Pasta Dinner Show is scheduled, with dinner at 6:00 p.m. and the show commencing at 7:00 p.m. The festivities continue on Dec. 16, with a Taco Bar Lunch Show, where lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m. followed by the show at 2:00 p.m.

Ticket options include the show with a meal or general admission for just the performance. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa, adding to the festive spirit of the event.

“Finding Christmas” follows the story of Julia and Cory Fitzpatrick, two store owners in Canyon Lake who have lost their Christmas spirit.

With the help of Tinkleberry, a whimsical elf, the couple, along with four of their employees, embark on a magical journey to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus and rediscover the joy of Christmas.

This family-friendly production is expected to enchant audience members of all ages. It might even call on the audience to help bring back the holiday spirit.

Tickets are available at clctheatre.com, with sales for the dinner show ending this weekend. General admission tickets will remain on sale through the day of the show, and tickets will also be available at the door.

The Canyon Lake Community Theatre invites the community to join in this festive celebration, promising a delightful experience filled with holiday cheer.
