Community Theatre to find Christmas in Lodge show

This holiday season, the Canyon Lake Community Theatre invites residents to experience the magic of Christmas with its original production, “Finding Christmas.” The play, written by Canyon Lake’s own talented residents, is set to take place at the Canyon Lake Lodge, promising a heartwarming and festive experience for the whole family.

The theatre group offers two unique experiences for the show. The first, a Pasta Dinner Show, is scheduled for Dec. 15, starting with dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by the performance at 7:00 p.m. For a different flavor, the Taco Bar Lunch Show on Dec. 16 serves lunch at 1:00 p.m., with the curtain rising at 2:00 p.m. Additionally, general admission tickets are available for those who prefer only to watch the play.

“Finding Christmas” tells the story of Julia and Cory Fitzpatrick, local store owners who have lost their Christmas spirit. With the help of Tinkleberry, a whimsical elf, the couple journeys to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus. The play is designed to be interactive, drawing the audience into the Fitzpatricks’ quest to rediscover the joy of Christmas.

The production is family-friendly and aims to engage audience members of all ages. Alongside the performance, attendees will also have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa, adding to the festive atmosphere. Tickets for “Finding Christmas” are available online at clctheatre.com. The community is advised to purchase tickets for the dinner show promptly, as sales will end one week prior to the event.
