CL Choraleers to present ‘A Reel Christmas’ Concert

The Canyon Lake Choraleers are all set to present their festive concert, “A Reel Christmas,” on Dec. 10 at 2:30 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Canyon Lake Lodge. This holiday event promises to bring beloved Christmas movie melodies to the audience, offering a blend of nostalgia and festive cheer.

The concert will feature a host of local talents, including pianist Lynda Salina and harpist Kylene Evans. A diverse range of instruments like the violin, flute, and trombone will be complemented by the voices of the Choraleers and a popular kids choir, all under the direction of Artistic Director Lorilee Bajema.The program is designed to take attendees on a journey through Christmas classics.

Highlights include selections from the ‘Home Alone’ soundtrack, Burl Ives’ ‘Holly Jolly Christmas,’ and songs from Disney’s ‘Frozen’, such as “In Summer.” The Choraleers aim to recreate the cozy ambiance of holiday movie favorites.

“We are excited to bring the magic of Christmas movies to life through music,” Lorilee said. “Our goal is to spread joy and rekindle fond holiday memories among our audience.”

Tickets for ‘A Reel Christmas’ are available online at brownpapertickets.com, at the Canyon Lake POA office, or directly from Choraleer members. Ticket prices are set at $30 for VIP seating, $25 for reserved seats, and $20 for general admission. The Canyon Lake community is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to ensure a spot at this eagerly awaited musical celebration of the holiday season.
