Woman’s Club seeks final home for annual holiday tour

The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club is thrilled to host its Annual Holiday Home Tour, a cherished event in the community. This year, the club has already secured four beautifully-decorated Canyon Lake homes for the tour, and they are eagerly seeking one more homeowner to complete the lineup.

Homeowners interested in showcasing their festive decorations are encouraged to contact the Holiday Home Tour Chairperson, Johncee Cochran, at 951-733-1411. Johncee is ready to provide all necessary information and answer any questions potential participants might have.

For those who may need assistance in decorating their homes for the tour, the ladies of the Woman’s Club are more than happy to lend their expertise and support, Johncee said.

The event is scheduled for Dec. 2, starting at the Canyon Lake Lodge at 9:00 a.m. Attendees can enjoy treats, beverages, and browse vendor offerings before embarking on the self-guided tour, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The day concludes with an opportunity drawing at the Lodge at 3:30 p.m.

Tickets for the tour and the opportunity drawing are available at several locations around Canyon Lake, including the Canyon Lake POA office, Pack, Wrap and Post, the Canyon Lake Library, and the Canyon Lake Lodge on some evenings.

Additional ticket information can be obtained by contacting Linda Gavin at 626-482-8061 or Sue Collins at 951-246-2773. Tour tickets are priced at $20 per person, and children aged 12 and over are welcome. Opportunity drawing tickets are available at six for $5.

The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all proceeds from the event will be reinvested in the community. Last year’s funds supported collegiate scholarships and various local groups like Helping Hands, the Canyon Lake Library, the Canyon Lake Community Theatre group and the Canyon Lake Senior Center.

The club deeply appreciates the community’s support, which significantly impacts many lives in Canyon Lake. This holiday season, club members look forward to another successful event and the added joy of sharing beautifully-decorated homes with the community.
