Golf Cart Parade, toy drive Dec. 3

Canyon Lake is gearing up for a festive and philanthropic celebration with its annual Christmas Golf Cart Toy Drive and Parade scheduled for Dec. 3. The event promises an evening of dazzling lights, festive decorations, and community camaraderie, starting with a lineup at Blue Bird Dr. at 4:00 p.m.

The parade will start at approximately 5:00 p.m. from Blue Bird Drive, head down Canyon Lake Drive, and end at Eastport Park where there will be food vendors, awards, and a great opportunity to see the decorated carts up close.

Participants in the parade are encouraged to decorate their golf carts with a plethora of lights and Christmas ornaments, vying for trophies and reveling in the holiday spirit. The parade is not just a showcase of festive decorations but also an opportunity for the community to contribute to a meaningful cause.

The primary requirement for entry into the parade is the donation of new, unwrapped toys. These gifts will be directed to local foster care organizations in Temecula and Riverside, with the goal of bringing joy and cheer to children during the holiday season.

This year’s parade is expected to be the largest yet, featuring an array of food vendors, music, and fun activities, enhancing the joyous atmosphere.

For those who wish to contribute toys, but are unable to participate in the parade, additional toy donations can be made at 22055 Mustang Court, either before or after the event.
