Community Theatre presents Dec. 15 ‘Finding Christmas’

The Canyon Lake Community Theatre is delighted to announce a festive Christmas event this holiday season at the Canyon Lake Lodge.

The highlight of the celebration is the original production, “Finding Christmas,” written by talented Canyon Lake residents.

This unique event offers three  opportunities to enjoy the show. One choice is the Pasta Dinner Show on Dec. 15: The evening will begin with dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by the show starting at 7:00 p.m. Or choose the Taco Bar Lunch Show on Dec. 16: A taco bar lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m., with the show commencing at 2:00 p.m.

Audience members also can choose general admission for just the show and no meal. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to take pictures with Santa, adding to the festive atmosphere.

“Finding Christmas” tells the heartwarming story of Julia and Cory Fitzpatrick, store owners in Canyon Lake who have lost their Christmas spirit.

With the help of a whimsical elf named Tinkleberry, they and four of their employees embark on an enchanting journey to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus and rediscover the true essence of Christmas.

This family-friendly production promises to captivate audience members of all ages. The interactive nature of the show might even involve the audience in helping restore the holiday spirit.
