City to celebrate Winter Wonderland, Tree Lighting Dec. 2

The City of Canyon Lake is all set to welcome the festive season with its Annual Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting event. Scheduled for Dec. 2, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Canyon Lake Town Center, this free holiday event promises an afternoon and evening filled with festive joy and community spirit.

Families and community members are invited to enjoy an array of activities that cater to all ages. The event will feature cherished holiday traditions, including photos with Santa and the ceremonial tree lighting. Additional attractions include train rides, snow sledding, and a petting zoo, ensuring fun for the younger attendees.

Adventure seekers can try their hand at the rock wall, while a variety of carnival games will offer entertainment for everyone. The event also provides an opportunity for children to send their wishes directly to Santa through letters, and a craft table will be set up for creative endeavors. For a touch of sparkle, glitter tattoos will be available.

Adding to the festive atmosphere will be an assortment of food vendors serving delicious treats, including one by In-n-Out, accompanied by holiday music to complete the experience. The Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting event in Canyon Lake is a cherished community gathering, marking the beginning of the holiday season in a truly magical way.
