Christmas golf cart parade, toy drive set for December

The festive season in Canyon Lake is set to be brighter and more charitable this year with the annual Christmas Golf Cart Toy Drive and Parade. Scheduled for Dec. 3, the event will begin lining up at Blue Bird Dr. at 4:00 p.m., promising an evening filled with lights, decorations, and community spirit.

Participants are encouraged to adorn their golf carts with as many lights and Christmas decorations as possible to compete for trophies and enjoy the seasonal parade.

The event will not only be a spectacle of festivity, but will also be a chance to give back, as the only requirement to enter the parade is the donation of unwrapped new toys. These gifts will be distributed to local foster care organizations in Temecula and Riverside, bringing joy to children during the holiday season.

The parade is anticipated to be the biggest yet, with food, vendors, music, and fun adding to the celebratory atmosphere. For those unable to participate in the parade, but still wishing to contribute, additional toy drop-offs can be made before or after the parade at 22055 Mustang Court.

This year’s Christmas Golf Cart Toy Drive and Parade in Canyon Lake is an opportunity for the community to come together in the spirit of giving and celebration.
