Riders and their horses gathered at the Canyon Lake Equestrian Center for a morning of Halloween-themed amusement and friendly competition.
The festivities began with 13 costumed riders and nine horses. The Play Day includes several equestrian-oriented competitions, all with a Halloween theme.

Those who volunteered to run the Play Day were volunteers Michelle Stubbs, Gina Hipsak, Kathy Mulcahy, Donna Kupke, Rick Rosa, Josh Schoessow, and Shannon Mulcahy.
The next Equestrian Center Play Day will be held Nov. 18. Which will include a food drive for Animal Friends of the Valleys.
