Woman’s Club Witches Gathering on Oct. 28

Embrace your inner witch at the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club’s annual Witches Gathering on Oct. 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Canyon Lake Senior Center.

Tickets for senior witches are $45, while junior witches (ages 17 and under) can attend for $25.

The club will be hosting a costume contest, featuring categories such as the most creative witches hat and much more.

The club’s October meeting will be held at the Country Club on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.. Those attending the meeting will have an option to purchase lunch tickets for $16 via Zelle, using the email address cayonlakewomasclub@gmail.com, or lunch can be purchased at the door.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, those attending are encouraged to wear pink. The meeting will feature guest speakers from Michelle’s Place who will be discussing their facility and their upcoming events, such as the Walk of Hope on Oct. 22.

Michelle’s Place offers many opportunities for those battling cancer to have a place to feel supported, to gain knowledge and be encouraged. Michelle’s Place now offers events and support for the families and all types of cancer support not just breast cancer.
