Registration deadline Thursday for State of the City event

Thursday is the deadline to register for the 2023 City of Canyon Lake State of the City’s “Paradise Defined” on Oct. 26 at the Canyon Lake Lodge Lighthouse Restaurant. Those wishing to attend will need  to register for the event.

City of Canyon Lake Mayor Jeremy Smith will be the keynote speaker and will address those in attendance on the state of the city and will recap the year’s accomplishments and its upcoming goals.

Preceding the address will be a specialty car show and reception at 5:00 p.m. at the Lodge with catering provided by In-n-Out.

The “Paradise Defined” theme will provide Jeremy and others to clarify what makes the city “a little bit of paradise” for all who live, work, visit, and invest in the community.

Registration will end on Thursday when all RSVPs must be submitted. The cost for tickets to the event is $45.00. Obtaining a ticket to the event is available at the Event Brite website, eventbrite.com, and search for City of Canyon Lake.

Sponsorships are available for this year’s State of the City. For those interested in sponsorships, email Madalyne Gonzales, Sr. Administrative Assistant, at mgonzales@canyonlakeca.gov. Sponsorships include seating and range in price from Diamond ($2,000) to Centerpiece ($750) levels.
