Monarch wins Battle of the Canyon Lake Businesses

Monarch Dumpsters emerged victorious at the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce 1st Annual Battle of the Canyon Lake Businesses held Saturday at Sierra Park.

The event drew a couple of hundred enthusiastic attendees for a day of networking, team building, and friendly competition and community fun.

Ten teams competed in a series of eight events that included Limbo, Tug of War, Kayaks, Three-Legged Race, Jump Rope, Corn Hole, Piggyback Race and Arm Wrestling. The atmosphere was electric, with DJ “The Rock Box” keeping the fans pumped, and the local community coming out in full force to cheer on their favorite teams.

The event offered great entertainment with a 50/50 raffle and auction items, including beautifully-crafted wooden flags provided by Tim Hurley and Jennifer Dore Lawrence. Attendees also savored delicious food and treats from the So Cheesy Food Truck, S&B Tacos, and Twisted Treatery.

The Chamber of Commerce extended heartfelt thanks to the businesses that participated, event sponsors, vendors, and the community for their fantastic turnout. Get ready for next year!
