Clubs unite for final Supermoon Moonlight Cruise

The Canyon Lake Yacht Club and the Canyon Lake Pickleball Club take their grand finale of three mesmerizing supermoon moonlight cruises tonight set against the backdrop of the Full Harvest Moon. The event promises to be an unforgettable evening of camaraderie and scenic beauty, Yacht Club Commodore Ron Wilbur said.

Members of both clubs will convene at the Holiday Harbor Guest Docks at 6:15 p.m. tonight where an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement will envelop them. Here, they will embark on an evening that blends elegance and relaxation. The night will commence with a delightful social gathering. Canyon Lakers are asked to bring an appetizer of delectable finger foods and refreshing drinks to share, as members come together to revel in the joys of life under the moon’s soft glow.

As the majestic Full Harvest Moon ascends above the horizon, boats from both clubs, laden with enthusiastic members, will embark on a serene and unhurried voyage around the Main Lake. The moon’s radiant reflection on the tranquil waters will create an enchanting ambiance that is sure to leave an indelible mark on all those aboard.

Boats convene in the idyllic Catfish Cove, where the camaraderie will continue to flourish.

Members will have the opportunity to further unwind, savoring the enchanting moonlight and each other’s company. Club members will bring swimsuits and towels along with their floating devices for a dip in the lake to enjoy a cool night swim with friends.
