Chronic Illness Support Group invites those suffering to meeting

The Canyon Lake Chronic Illness Support Group will meet on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in the CPR Building in the Canyon Lake Town Center. The primary objective of the support group revolves around providing a platform for individuals grappling with chronic illnesses or conditions.

“By uniting in this shared experience, attendees aim to draw strength from one another within a secure and understanding setting,” organizer Steven Prince said.

Attendance at these meetings is warmly extended to anyone burdened with a chronic medical condition or illness, as well as to their dedicated caregivers.

“The ambiance of the meetings is intentionally crafted to foster positivity, support, and encouragement, while also delivering valuable and enlightening information,” Steven said. “Confidentiality stands as a cornerstone of these gatherings, ensuring that participants can freely express themselves.”

The inclusivity of the meetings extends to all age groups, as they are open and free to attend.

“The unique challenges and nuances that accompany chronic illnesses are truly understood only by those who share in that experience,” Steven said.
